Food Drive

The Senior Action Network, Hanson Motors and Subaru of America have teamed up for the third year in a food drive for seniors. Senior Services for South Sound will be the beneficiary of all the non-perishables items collected, who will in turn distribute to seniors in need. "Our goal is to fill 3 vans all the way to the top with food!" says Cyndi Lounsbury, President, Senior Action Network. "We invite everyone to join us in filling the van." The partnership is conducting the drive to support Meals on Wheels Program, Senior Meal Program and the Senior Food Bank.

"Hanson Motors joins Senior Action Network in this endeavor because we like giving back to the seniors - those who have given to our community for many years," notes Vince Hanson, Vice President, Hanson Motors. "We figured we can make it even bigger and better this year, too!"

Donations can be taken to the Hanson Motors main showroom in the Capital Auto Mall during business hours October 27 through November 20.
