Senior Action Network

The Senior Action Network consists of Thurston, Mason, and Lewis Counties businesses dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors through business development and services. SAN members meet monthly for educational speakers, networking opportunities and senior community service. SAN sponsors several events including Annual Caregiver's Recognition Dinner, Yard Clean-up, Seniors in the Park and more.

Speakers Available from SAN

Are you picking your Speakers in the upcoming months?  Service groups, Senior Groups, Church Groups if so SAN Information and Education Speakers are available.

How and where do you find "Safe Speakers for a great first hand education on about almost every issue of aging?  Senior Action Network.  If you have a topic we most likely have a speaker. Even if you do not have a topic and just want a speaker, call Julie Ostling, Assured Home and Health Hospice, 360-236-9204 and she will be able to set up a speaker for you.

SAN Helping Out

Once a year the Catholic Community Services asks SAN members to spend the morning helping clean Senior’s yards who are not able to do it anymore.  Here are some pictures of SAN members assisting seniors in their yards this year.

MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

We are pleased that although the price of everything seems to be going up, Senior Action Network has stayed at $40 and we still donate thousands of dollars a year to agencies and seniors in need. So thank you for being a member or potential member. If you are new to the idea of SAN, please come for FREE to our January 24, 2012, meeting. It is the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:15 AM to 9:00 AM at the Downtown Senior Center. It is open to anyone but it is mostly businesses who serve seniors who attend the meeting.

We had 60+ members four years ago and this year topped 120 members!! We have doubled in size in four years due to a lot of fun, networking and serving our seniors with ethics and great pride.

So one huge Thank You to all members and new possible members.

SAN Meeting Location

SAN meets at the Olympia Community/Senior Center in downtown Olympia. Meeting begins at 7:45 am but come anytime after 7:15 am and enjoy pastries, juices and coffee.  Parking during the early morning is rarely a problem, so don't let that stop you!
